Ultra Thin LED Flushmount Recessed lights

Working on some interior updates to our Argosy and came across these ultra thin LED Recessed Lights. I could see them actually working but I have not cut into my panels or really investigated the idea beyond just coming across them. Would be great to replace those old plastic fixtures with something a little more modern. Hell these are cheaper then the plastic fixtures.

I'm in the process of remodeling so I'm also looking for lighting ideas. The lights the link took me to were 120V. I didn't see any 12V under that link. At this point I'm not certain what my above ceiling clearance is but these call over 2-1/4" overhead clearance and no insulation within 3" around the fixture. Sorry to say it doesn't look doable.

I opted for these in my ceiling, 6"X 6". You have a choice of 2 Kelvin ratings and they are dimmable. Detailed specs are listed for review.

If memory serves the owner's name is Dan and he was pretty helpful with my exterior Airstream lights. I have not contacted him yet regarding interior lighting.

I've used LED4RV to replace all my halogen recessed lights. Once I determined which color temperature I wanted (Warm white) and the bulb type I was replacing, it was plug and play.

I replaced all the recessed lights and the reading lights. It's made a huge reduction in power consumption for lighting, and the other side effect is that the LEDs produce a lot less heat--bumping into a nice hot Halogen-powered fixture will potentially leave burns, and can add to the Air Conditioning heat load.

LED4RV also carries an assortment of fixtures as well. Well worth a look-see.

Hi everyone!

I'm looking at lighting options, coming from a completely gutted trailer. That gives me a lot of flexibility but mostly no reference and a lot of unknowns! I've been playing with an electrical design, which changes depending on how many lights I include. The number of lights is not set, and the type of light is not set and I'm unsure which to choose first or how to move forward. In some trailers I see fewer, brighter lights and others have dozens and dozens of tiny pucks. What has worked well for you? How do I know how many of any given light I need to adequately light the trailer? I'm looking for a warmer color, and ideally lights that can dim.
