We had our 2nd outing with our Airstream this week, we went to the Triple Tree Fly In .
We found some more issues with our remodeling, I will post updates, but we will be making the gaucho removable as we realized that it is more than two people need. We are also changing from swing open doors on the cabinets to sliding doors. Stay tuned!

It's been a year and we are thoroughly enjoying our work, we have found many issues and try to fix them as we go along. Here's a pic from our latest 2700 mile trip -

It's that time of year again! We made some more changes inside and outside. We also just went on another 2100 mile 14 day trip thru the midwest. Had a blast but the roads in IL and WI seem to destroy our Airstream every time we drive thru them. When we remodeled our A/S years ago we added a deadbolt that worked perfectly for years until we got to IL this year. Two of our stops we found the deadbolt had worked itself open. After the 2nd stop we were driving along at 65 mph and found the door open. After stopping we found the deadbolt had loosened up and when the door swung open at 65 mph it bent the door severely. Why are A/S doors on backwards from all other campers?
