Staged Demo Coach

We just arrived back home from Lebanon a few days ago. We had such an awesome time both there and on the road.

We staged a demo coach outside of the exhibit hall had so much fun putting that trailer together.

Just wanted to share some pictures that I was browsing through on the iPhone post trip.

Where did you get the AC vent covers? Do they improve the AC performance?

There is a thread somewhere that gets into the details of how we did those spot diffusers. They dramatically improved cooling performance.

Unfortunately, we haven’t been able to find an economically viable way to make them available.

The diffusers are spun formed aluminum and cost around $175.00 apiece from the supplier (who has suspended production indefinitely). Then in order to make them interface with the ceiling we had to prototype abs adapter collars that cost about $50.00 apiece. So they were prohibitively expensive.

Performance wise, I would never consider going back to the OEM vents — these are easily delivering 30% more airflow while keeping the cold air away from the warm walls and concentrating it towards the center of the coach.

I just wasn’t able to get the price point or supply line where it needed to be.

W saw your demo AS at Lebanon. It was awesome and we were really impressed with your on board generator. Very creative and a nice job with the install.

One thing I forgot to ask when talking to you is if you had a lift kit on the demo AS?

I'm surprised those vents deliver more air as they look to reduce the area of the opening. That might give a greater feeling of the air in direct line with the vent, but it must reduce the volume of air.

I could be be wrong, it happened once before. I thought I was wrong but it turned out I was right.

The openings on the spot diffusers we installed have about 65% more area than the oem vents and no obstructions or fins..
