sink water on couch in FC 28FB
I’m looking at purchasing the FC28FB model. I’m a sloppy dishwasher and typically wash dishes outside. But if I have to wash inside in the kitchen...how do you all keep that sink water from getting all over the couch? Pictures with your fix much appreciated!

Can you describe how water is getting all over your couch? I don’t know what sloppy dishwashing means per se - but for us, we have a collapsible dish drainer and a micro fiber mat so anything we’re washing goes in to or on to those and no water drains anywhere until we take the collapsible dish drainer and empty it in to the sink. We also try to conserve water as much as possible so we’re not using a ton of water to begin with. There are methods for that.
I think it would help to have a little more information about what you’re doing to offer more meaningful advice.

I have that floorplan, but not that problem. If you are splashing the couch, you are also splashing the window, the wall, and the floor. Try laying a towel over the end of the couch until you hone your dishwashing skills. Unless, this is just an excuse to try to get out of doing the dishes. If so, good luck with that.

ShamWow, you'll be saying wow every time. It's like a shammy, it's like a towel, it's like a sponge. A regular towel doesn't work wet, ShamWow works wet or dry. It's for the house, the Car, the Boat and especially the sink area in your RV which gets wet if you are a sloppy dish washer! Shamwow holds 12 times it's weight in liquid, it just does the work. Why do you want to work twice as hard? It doesn't drip, doesn't make a mess, just wring it out. You wash it in the washing machine. Made in Germany, you know the Germans always make good stuff. If you spill some cola, wine, coffee, cola, pet stains. Not only is your damage going to be on top, there's your mildew and that is gonna smell. Put ShamWow on the spill, turn it over without putting any pressure, 50% comes up, turn it over, a little pressure and the other 50% comes up, the color starts to come up no other towels' gonna do that. So absorbent it acts like a vacuum on a rug. See what I’m telling ya? Shamwow you'll be saying wow every time.
All I can say is SHAM! WOW!
Take care,
Vince

I know just what you're talking about! We did not like that particular design. We knew we did not want our kitchen sink perched over the arm of the sofa. I, too am a sloppy dishwasher. Full disclosure. So we bought a 30ft International Serenity back in 2016. Full sofa with no sink adjacent. Lovely kitchen. Full dinette. It works for us.

6 years plus with our 28’ International 4-6 months use per year, no issue. It was a concern when we bought it but I much prefer the layout on the 28 over the 30 since the large windows are on the door and patio side. If you have a view when boondocking you can orient the trailer so the best view is the same both from inside and under the awning. In RV Parks the big windows look out on to your patio, not the neighbors. I know this doesn’t matter to many but it is a strong preference for my wife and I.

I may be overthinking every detail of this purchase but Seems others had similar concerns (or dishwashing technique). Will look into the splash guard - that’s exactly what I was thinking I needed. I love the layout of the 28 ft as well. Thanks all for the feedback!
