shower curtain for Globetrotter wet bath

I want to replace my original shower curtain for my '66 Globetrotter. Do I need to go to an upholstery business and see if they can duplicate my curtain? Are there any vintage trailer suppliers that sell such an item? Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks!

I went and bought a cloth shower curtain at Tjmaxx and cut it down to size for my wetbath. Added some snaps and good as new. I have a 72 Safari 23ft. Not sure if the bathrooms were set up similar. Any pics? Here's a link to my thread with my shower curtain install.

A trick is to trim off the top of the new curtain in an arch so it hangs straight when closed. That is, if your shower track curves along the ceiling of the end cap.

thanks for the responses to my questions. I believe I will be able to reproduce the curtain.

For our ‘62 Globetrotter that has a bathtub/shower, we traced the curve (you can use existing curtain if you have 1) on butcher paper and a friend (I don’t sew) made us a plastic “liner” that goes into the tub so water doesn’t get on the floor & an outside cloth curtain that matches my drapes. She did have a sewing machine powerful enough to sew through the plastic fasteners (outs were missing so ordered replacements from Vintage Trailer Supply).

You can always fold the top instead of cutting it off. fold and sew it. That way it will not be easily ripped off at the top in accident pulling down too much.

On My 1970 we use 1/2 store bought curtain and I add a few snaps.... next season I chuck it and use the other 1/2.....works great and we always have a newer curtain.
