Shelf Storage-2015 twin wardrobes

Does anyone have any ideas for installing storage shelves in the two wardrobes(with bookcases inserted) in the 2015 Flying Cloud 28 ft. or similarly laid-out units? I did wire shelves in the closet of our 25 ft. FC but cannot yet determine how best to install shelves in the new Airstream. I find that folded clothes on the shelves are a more efficient use of space than the hangars. The shape of the wardrobes do not particularly lend themselves to wire shelving. The main issue is how best to support the shelving material, wire or white board. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Here is what we did. We have a shop near us that does Airstream restorations/modifications. They installed the shelves using lightweight luan or plywood that was coated with carpet-type fabric. We had the hangar racks removed and shelves installed. You can see they used small brackets to support the shelves. We have been very pleased with the look and usability of the shelves. It is possible to make much better use of the space and provides easier access to clothing. We also had them add lighting in both closets that comes on and off with the door opening/closing.
