Seeking Caravel Soap/Toothbrush H

Does anyone have a soap/toothbrush holder we can buy? We're restoring our '66 Caravel and would love to source the original part if possible. Thx!

Wellllll, I have one that is currently not installed (out of my '67 Caravel). I am just now completing my 1 year long renovation and filled all the holes in the fiberglass bathroom shell before painting it. So, I am reluctant to reinstall the "holder" and would be glad to give it to you once I have camped a time or two in the trailer. The first outing is 8/4/17 after which I should have a better feeling. PM me with a ping afterwards to gauge my desire to let it go. Below is my new bathroom area where the "holder" should go...you can see why I might be reluctant to mount it. The cup is for toothbrushes and a soap dish is sitting on the countertop behind the vessel sink.

I for one would like to know more about that fancy looking cabinet latch you have there.

The cabinet latches came with the trailer and all cabinet doors have them. Two had broken strikers (the part that mounts to the face frame), but I was able to copy the construction and make new ones. I looked long and hard for replacements to no avail.

The best I have seen for that era trailer. Nice!

Thank you. BTW, I found and have decide I am not going to use the toothbrush/cup holder. Yes, it is a toothbrush and cup holder and as such may not even be vintage. Decent, but not perfect. If you still want it, PM me with your address and it is yours for the cost of shipping.
