Restore Wall Sconce Light Fixtures

Any suggestions on how to remove replace the material that lines the inside of the wall sconce lights in a 1960 Ambassador. It looks like some type of heavy paper or fiberglass? I need to bead blast some rust off of the metal fixture then replate them.
