Repurposing Original Features

I thought I'd start this thread to let others display their ideas for using original features of their trailers to meet their current needs. Hopefully others will benefit by getting ideas for their own use.

I repurposed the wall panel heater in our 58 Overlander to house all the current electrical components you normally need to see on a regular basis. Our goal was to maintain the look of the original interior as much as possible.

The 'instrument panel' is also hinged to access wiring/components.

I ran across this photo on a craigslist ad. They used their wall panel heater to create a pantry in a 58 Traveler.
