Replacement Light Diffuser
The light above the kitchen counter in our 71 Safari is missing. I think the defuser from above the beds is the same size. Since they are all old and yellowed, I would like to replace the bed defusers and the one in the kitchen.
For the same reason I would like to replace the vent lights.
Anyone know a source?
Thanks in advance,
Floyd Terrel

Are you sure you have a 71? The light fixtures are those used in 72 and later models...

We just completed a mold for the lens for the bed and under rooflocker light.
Have not had time to post it in our web site, just yet.

I bought it as a '71, and the body tag with the vin number says it was mfg in October '71. May be a '72, I don't know.
I just ordered the 3 ceiling vent light covers, but have been unable to locate the kitchen light cover.
Thanks a bunch,
Floyd

Floyd.
Check the trailer serial number plate.
It should say 23 T or D followed by a 2 and then an S or J, followed by 3 numbers.
Your ceiling lights were not used until the start of the 1972 models.
Their color in your photo, strongly suggests a ton of smoking, which caused the discoloration, as they originally were milk white.

The vin number is hard to read, but the best I can figger it is:
123T2J1595 (I guess the "5"s vould be "S".

No, the 5's are OK.
The "J" says the trailer was made in Jackson Center.

It's a 1972 twin bed model, that was made in Jackson Center.
