Removing towel racks

Would like to do a little remodel/upgrade to the bathroom in my 1998 31ft. Excella 1000 mid-bath. I have these towel racks (2 on wall over toilet and 1 in shower) I need to remove. Any ideas on how to remove? Normally, there is a set-screw to loosen on the base of the rack, then screws holding the brackets to the wall. There aren't any on these racks. Suggestions greatly appreciated. (Tried to twist base to unscrew, but nothing came loose).Click image for larger version

Very odd. It looks identical to one I re-installed in our house a week ago! There are small set screws in ours. I had to go hunting for a very small screwdriver.

May I suggest you take another look?

The set screw is at the base of the brass post, not on the chrome trim.

I looked a little closer and found the set screw at the base of the post as suggested. After owning my 1998 AS for a little over 2 years, I am still discovering new things quite often. Plus, the people on this forum are great at helping one another out. Thank you!
