Refrigerator Ductwork

I have a 66 Caravel that was recently in a building that had a fire. There is a plastic ductwork piece that comes up from the Refrigerator to vent out to the roof. The part that was in the upper cabinet melted due to the heat coming through the roof vent. I need to build a new one somehow. I have attached a couple of pictures that shows where it goes.
Any thoughts on how to do this or is there some place I can purchase the material?

If it was me, I would make new plastic out of fiberglass cloth and ABS plastic cement. It worked fine for the repair of my Overlander's AC shroud:

I'm not on a computer right now, so searching isn't as easy, but I've seen a couple posts over the years of people making that vent stack out of aluminum sheet (which is actually what I do now as well). If you use aluminum or other metal, just remember that the stack will be more conductive than the original plastic. I actually insulate mine and then build a cabinet around it.

While you're doing it, you may as well incorporate a couple of 12v fans in the stack. They will keep your refer much cooler in the summer. You can install a manual switch, or a thermostatic switch so the fans only run when the refer gets hot.

We have the same vent in our 66 Safari. The difference is ours is concealed whereas yours is exposed. I looked on Vintage Trailer Supply and they show a refrigerator chimney vent that fits the 60s. You may want to give Steve a call to make sure it fits the Caravel. Good luck

Thanks everyone for your suggestions. Making a piece using fiberglass or aluminum will probably work. I have also reached out to Steve at Vintage as you suggested as the one they list shows out of stock. Maybe he knows where I can find it. Thanks again for your responses.
