Recliner Chairs

We're considering an International 30 ft. with Recliner chairs instead of their standard lounge sofas. Does anyone have any experience with the recliner chairs (positive or negative) or the 30 ft. in general. We currently own a 2011 International 27FB.

I'd be tempted to try to fit the recliners into the 27 FB. It's a lot cheaper than buying a new Airstream. OTOH... mebbe we should talk. As a fulltiming female the bigger closet appeals to me.

Darn I wish I were better doing SEARCHes. I've seen a thread of someone who DID replace them not too long ago. Will dive in and try again.

I even started this thread (BLUSH)

http://www.airforums.com/forums/f7/r...r-86132-2.html

Dotkom found the ones Airstream uses. Could two fit in a 27?

I'm SO ready to redo mine, but darn I live in the thing and it's a PITA to think about trying to find a temporary apartment or condo or hotel while I remodel. Only solution is a 2nd Airstream or Avion or maybe the new 22 foot Oliver - which would also be a perfect guest house/weekender

but my sister would of course want to take it to the gold mining claims. And my brother in law... Nascar. And my niece...

never mind.

We are full timers and the front couch was not comfortable for full time living. We first considered two recliners but, then where does the dog lay? So, we bought a La-Z-Boy love seat. Both sides recline and the dog can lay in between us. Plus, it is so much easier to service the converter, the 12V fuse box, and battery. To compensate for the loss of storage space under the original couch, we bought a three drawer night stand. The love seat and night stand together fill the space previously occupied by the couch.

We have a 2012 30 ft FC with recliners up front. We like them, they were one of the reasons we bought this unit. Our dog mat goes between the two chairs. The pull out table also fits nicely with the chairs as a work station or hobby surface. You do lose some storage space, but we haven't missed it. We think the chairs are very comfortable and would recommend them.
