Proper Attire

When tearing into an old Airstream it is important that one is properly attired. The old floor tiles were made with asbestos. Also the mold in an old unit can be toxic.Tie is optional.

What's that caster mounted on the door about? Is it to let the awning roll over the door without catching?

And good suggestion, by the way. Just standing in ours, carefully not touching anything yet (tempting as it may be to start gutting it) the smell of black mold is so strong, I feel like I'm taking the exact number of minutes that I spend in there ...off the end of my life.

Don you sound like Air Canada management, always trying to get us to wear eye protection. They even went so far as to say it was mandatory at all times and the bosses walked around wearing safety glasses in the office. It didn't wash. On the positive side I do wear my safety glasses whenever I am in danger of getting something in my eye.Saw too many videos at work where a fellow puts a nail in his eye with a power nailer.

Exactly, if the awning is not put up high enough to clear the door, that roller keeps the door from tearing the awning.
