Pic request - Argosy or similar with a front dinette or desk

PO attempted to do a front full size bed layout on my 26' Argosy (double bed floor plan) and I want to change it to be either a desk or dinette. Most of the pics that I come across are on models where the door is further aft due to the side window. So I have come here for inspiration. I dont think I want a U shaped dinette for a couple of reasons.
  • Lack of space
  • The seat on the front wall would have to have an odd backrest in order to not protrude into the window opening
  • Seems easy to hit your head on the overhead cabinet when getting in and out of the front wall seat

Attached are the layouts I am considering, any pics or suggestions would be appreciated.

I did a banquette to have more seating and it makes into a bed.

The extra cushion and cushions from the long end make up the bed.
An ottoman can be attached on the long side for putting your feet up or as a backless extra seat at the table.

Argosy 26' dinette

Attached is a picture of the dinette in our 28' Argosy. I rescued this from a 1975 26' Argosy that was being gutted and modernized, I also acquired some wall panels, used those to replace de-laminated and water damaged dinette panels and had the seat cushions remade with new foam and upholstery. I have the original above the floor water tank and the dinette is boxed out to cover that, so reduced legroom at the front wall.

It comes to the middle of the window which would be the side of the door in a 26' and the opposite side is the same length. The shorter length leaves enough wall for the fire extinguisher by the door. The black dot is a 12v outlet. I have seen an original 28' with the opposite side sofa extending all the way to the kitchen counter.
