Part needed badly for shower

Hello All,

Thanks in advance for anyone who can help me with this one. I have a problem with my shower curtain. Everytime I take a shower water blasts everywhere because the latch that holds the curtain closed is missing. I have the original acordian style shower curtain and it likes to be wide open. If you close it, it just springs back open, and water goes all over the bathroom. HELP! I have not seen a part like this at Inland, not sure where else to look. There is a photo on this forum of the busted latch if you do a search on shower curtain. I couldn't get anyone to reply to it so I decided to try again. The one remaining latch part says "Signature" on it.Thanks much!

I'd like to help you, but my '82 has a shower curtain rather than a folding door. If not successful, you might want to consider a curtain. It gives you a whale of a lot more space in entering and exiting the shower. The folding door probably reduces your entryway by 3-4 inches, but I'd probably be the same as you. I'd want it to remain as original as possible.

You may attempt to install a magnetic catch on the door and where the door meets the bulkhead.

Self adhesive velcro strips. I use them on my sliding door screen which has a broken latch to keep my mutts from letting themselves in and out.
When they figure that out, I'll try something else but they are much smarter than me and keep me on my toes. As a last resort I might have to repair/replace the latch.
