Hello all, only my second post, and my first restoration. I own a '58 Caravanner. This particular trailer is 99% untouched it has been used as a camper since
1958. But, here is my dilemma, this camper seems to have your typical Zolatone painted interior panels, but the cabinets, and rear bed area all painted white with blue doors. The same goes for the kitchenette, overall white with drawer faces painted blue. The paint seems to be original because, after looking at everything including where hinges were attached they seem to be installed through the blue paint.
Was there some sort of poor mans version of the interiors where instead of getting finished wood, you got painted wood? If any one can clarify these issues, I would greatly appreciate it.
Thank you
AK
