Has anyone tried overhead storage along the ceiling? I just watched Tiny Homes
Big Living and the guy had a contraption built, where it was three shallow boxes joined together and they folded up flat. The way a fishing tackle box would fold, I guess. Anyway this would be good for short airstreamers only, I suppose
Keep in mind that storage location affects your Airstream's balance and handling. In a house you don't have to worry about a high center of gravity, but in a trailer you do. The higher your storage, the lighter you want the things placed therein to be. Spare pillows? Sure. Books? Not so good. You get the idea. Just something to keep in mind as you plan.

Yes, years ago we added storage shelves front and back above the regular cabinets. They offer a few inches of storage for items like a blanket, place mats, some books. The books would have to be made of lead to have any weight problems.
