New Radio/CD changer

I would like some input on replacing the Airstream Radio, 8 track player. I would like a cd player and possibly a cd changer. Will any 12v radio work? Are there ways to tell what speaker wires come out of old radio, to goto their respective locations? how hard would it be to re-wire radio/ speakers?

Thanks

I had a complete new system installed along with flat panel tv and apple tv box at the Airstream Service Center. It was quite a job. They knew what they were doing and it still took a second trip at a later time to nail it. It is worth having experienced techs do the dirty work.

I installed a radio/cd out of a ford pickup. I got an oem plug/wiring harness on ebay,it came with diagram for ford wires. The AS wiring was easy to figure out, speakers/hot/ground and such.
