They probably were in the wood when it was built, as I am learning, because they do not like to infest lacquered wood. I do have a question, you know how they have a gas furnace by the door sometimes? Where to find? Is missing...Thanks! All the lights work, the stovetop works, didn't know where to light the oven...All in all it is still my little lucky find!
As a Spartan owner, I can tell you it is definitely NOT a Spartan of any kind or model. There is one person I know of who will probably be able to identify this trailer from just the interior photos. You should join the TinCanTourist Facebook page, ask your question there, and tag Tim Heintz. Iíve seen a trailer with these doors but havenít been able to remember the brand. Too bad some of our long time resources are now gone. Tim will probably know right away, or if not will be able to tell you after a little research.
I canít tell what brand you have, but I have instructions for a Dixie stove. Youíll want to do some research about a replacement furnace. A lot of people remove them and sometimes you can find a good deal, but that good deal might not be the safest option.
Before applying anything to the finish of the wood do some tests to determine exactly what finish is there now. Donít assume.
Itís lovely, even without an ID.
