Krylon and Rustoleum

anyone use the new Krylon or Rustoleum speckled textured spray paint? I wonder how these will do as an interior finish. Like an easy on zolatone, though not quite the heavy duty coating. They seem promising to redo over the latex a po painted my living room in.

Depends on how textured it is. I've seen spray bombs of "wrinkle finish" that may be more the answer, if you can find it in the right color.

Careful about using Rustoleum on aluminum.....I don't know about all of it but when I read the label on their brush-on primer, it said NOT FOR USE ON ALUMINUM and after that I quit looking at Rustoleum. Read your label carefully.

I used the Rustoleum when I rebuilt my reading lamps, and love how it turned out. The heat from the bulbs has not affected the finish at all.

I am intending to use this on the vinyl surfaces that were repainted in latex. Ceiling, walls, etc. It should adhere to the latex.
