interior lights

need interior light switches for 1978.these switches turn on 2,4 or all the light in the fixture.any help would be greatly appreciated

It's called a 3-way rotary switch. I bought mine from Vintage Trailer Supply since I was ordering a bunch of stuff from them anyway. Just under $8 each. But, I'm sure you can find them other places like amazon if you wanted. When you see a picture of them they are the ones with three wires (red, blue and black).

For such a cheep cost I would recommend replacing all these old switches as they degrade over the years and short out. I also simply replaced all the old bulbs with LEDs, also cheap.

The small knurled knob on the new switch is threaded and will twist off. The decorative knob from the old light fixture can then be reused.
