Drilling a few rivets is about as removable as that center ceiling panel should get, the riveted inner and outer layer of aluminum makes a working part of the whole structure that keeps everything rigid.
Rivets are quite friendly for quick access; drill, access, pop and forget... its holding up the sixteen or twenty foot section up to fasten it that is a worry!
Cutting the sixteen foot piece in smaller lengths and adding patch pieces that overlap the original with extra pop-rivets would* work though there would be some strength lost.
Mostly items in the shell are set and forget - worked well for mine for 40 years
