Question Insulation

we are a long way and a few years from a full restoration (prolly after the kids (9mo & 2) are in school). However I was wondering if anyone has used or considered the sprayfoam insulation? Thanks for the help!

First, welcome. Don't wait, do it now, your kids will thank you forever for doing it.
lots of threads here on spray foam. Short and skinny: stay away from it.
try Airforums: spray in foam the opinions are astounding. having worked on foamed trailers, please don't.

Spray foam and iron don't mix well - I've seen a new Vintage owner nearly reduced to tears upon discovery of rust-colored rotten foam chunks lurking beneath the floor, rust-colored because the iron had simply vanished. If the unit will never see rain... maybe.
