Installing an LCD bracket in a '72 Overlander

We want to mount a bracket for an LCD TV in our '72 Overlander. We want to be able to watch the TV from the front couch.

Other threads mention mounting the bracket to the bulkhead, but the bulkhead in our '72 Overlander isnt very "bulky". It is made of of rather thin material that I don't think can support a TV and bracket.

Can the bracket be mounted directly into one of the vertical ribs? if so, should it be rivited or screwed?

You can attach a thicker piece that you can glue and screw to the wall and then anchor to that. It does not have to be ugly. The edges can be routed and it can be stained to match or enhance the fake stuff.
