I just replaced my entire interior with .025 but if I were to do it over, I'd probably use .032, it would lay flatter.

What about endcaps? Would you use .032?
Of course, mine isn't going to even be structural. I'm laying it over a fiberglass endcap and just want enough thickness so that each rivet doesn't make a dimple.

Look at the way Steve covered his endcaps with wood. It looks great. You'll find his posting #138 about it @ First She had to take a Boat ride.

My endcaps are fiberglass so they didn't get replaced, the .032 would probably work good for a 13 panel because it won't kink as easy.
The 4X10 sheets were $42 for the first batch and $46 each for the last I bought. I believe they used daily market value for each order. For the interior of my 26' I believe I needed 10 sheets total(?) for the walls and ceiling.

What grade aluminum are you getting??? Recycled scrap? I wish I could get that price. I know I'm only buying two sheets so there's not much of a volume discount but wow!
I think I'm gonna go for .032 but invest in some better shears.

New 3003 alloy, a local company stocks large quantities of special metals and is willing to sell to the public.

Peter, hey it's been a while.
Did you actually lay aluminum over your fiberglass endcaps?
Without re-reading your thread, I thought you did wood in the back. But did you go over the endcap?
Thanks
