Ideas for 2015 25’ dinette?

We love our 2015 25’ twin FC except for one major issue... the front dinette. The bench seats are great for sitting during a meal but are incredibly uncomfortable for spending time relaxing and watching a movie.
We discussed the concept of replacing the bench seats with two chair with the AANW in Portland but the quote was 11k.

We are currently considering purchasing a different trailer from manufacturers that offer theater seating.
I would truly miss the Airstream community and this forum but my back is demanding a change.

Before we make that leap, are there any suggestions on modifications to improve this situation?

This is what we did. Added a center cushion and backrest to dinette to convert to a lounge. We both r happy and comfortable now.

Thank you Mike, That looks like an easier option instead of replacing the entire front dinette area with recliners

We just traded our 2020 25’ international for a FC 30’bunk with the U shaped dinette. The stock U shaped dinette is much more comfortable than the rear dinette in the 25’. I met someone in Malibu who converted his 27’ dinette in his Glob to a U. Huge improvement!

The average life span of most trailers is 15 years. You can confirm this by sorting things on rvtrader by oldest year. Watch what happens. I can't afford that.

This is how we made our dinning area better for us[ATTACH][ATTACH]. As you can see the cushions wrap around so both of us can watch TV and have extra folks at the table when we eat.

Same as Mike, we call it the "Baby Grand" lounge. Ultimate Airstreams made the center-bottom and we just ordered another back.
