Older Airstreams usually included 2 Zip Dee folding chairs with fabric matching the awning IMO. Our 1985 Sovereign 25' had them, and we used them to sit at the fold-up dining table -- a great floor plan layout BTW.

They are durable and comfortable, but heavier than today's aluminum variety IMO.

BTW your photo links require a login ID and PW, so can't confirm the above. Is there a Zip Dee tag on the chairs?

Cheers,

Peter

Zip Dee Chairs

Yes I have Zip Dee folding chairs also. But these others are different and if they dont have some historical value we will paint them and use them, if there is some historical difference then we would reconsider.

Thanks

ID these chairs

So it is likely that repainting and recovering would not change their value?

Well, in all fairness you just asked to identify them and I did :-)

Hang on a second let me take a look online... looks like people are referring to them as vintage, retro, and mid-century modern so those words artificially inflate the price.

I see them running approximately $20-25 a piece to $400 for four chairs and a table.

I see that you are from the Denco unit and there are lots of folks there with vintage trailers. You might see if somebody is interested.

Good luck
