Exclamation Humphrey Gas Mantles

I would like to try the Gas Humphrey lamp in my '62 Safari. I need to find the correct mantle for it. According to the instructions that came with my trailer, it calls for a No. 39 Humphrey Beret Tie-On Mantle used on model 3T, 4T, 5T Lamps. Does anyone know the proper current replacement mantel and the best place to purchase??

Thanks!

Hi Charles -
I've been using the Coleman mantles available at most camping stores. They hold up well while traveling and burn clean and bright. I always keep spares in the kitchen cabinet but haven't needed any yet.

Remember to keep a window cracked open as well as a vent cover.

Humphrey lamps are now known as Paulin lamps. Lehman's carries parts and wicks for them.

I got some Coleman heavy duty mantles two years ago and have been very happy with them. I think they call them "Gold" or something like that. They withstand rough roads better than the standard ones.
