Front Cabinet Access???

I am working on our 1968 Caravel and I have a question about accessing the interior of the front overhead storage area with the sliding doors. The PO installed a radio and speakers that are mounted on the underside of the overhead front cabinet. The wiring for the radio runs up into the cabinet housing (but not into the cabinet area itself).

I want to remove this wiring and also change the external antenna that is mounted on the end cap.

Can anyone tell me how I can get into this area of the front overhead cabinet of the Caravel? I am pretty certain that this front storage area is common to other models from that time period.

Thanks,
