Let's just keep that between us. If it gets around, folks that should be buying 23s might end up with those horrible 25s. Pat

Everyone needs to make their own decisions regarding what's most important. The DW and I couldn't imagine being comfortable sitting at a dinette every night after dinner. We looked for and found a 25' Safari with gaucho (couch) and fold-out table. Functional for meals, card games, etc, but also good for lounging after dinner or entertaining. Just my 2c.

I mentioned earlier that we have a 23CB, but would have bought a 25' had we had room to park it at our house. But...what I should have added, is that, after having the 23CB now for two years, we probably would not trade it for a 25'.
The upside to the 25 is the bed (or twin beds), but otherwise, there's nothing else that we feel like we're lacking. And, as some others have said, if the corner bed gets to be unworkable, plan B is that one of us will just sleep on the pull out lounge/bed.

We got one with the piano hinge in the middle and it folds out to sufficient space for the bathroom. It is nice having the sink out separate for brushing teeth and getting ready.

Like trailer preferences, I think some will prefer the folding door and others will like the 'old design' better. I have spent enough time at our local dealer checking out with the new, folding door to know it isn't for me... I find it way too "fiddly" and an unnecessary complication.
That said, others absolutely love it, and I certainly respect that! Like they say, "you pays your money, you make your choice!"

I didn’t like the folding door at all. I removed it and made this with aluminum flat stock and a curtain. It is much easier to get into the bathroom and there is more space with the curtain drawn.

We have an Int'l 25 CCD CB which is basically the same as the 23. We are "smaller people" both of us are 5'7" about 145-160LB. So the corner bed is plenty large enough. The main issue is that the person sleeping on the outside wall (passenger side) has to do the turn-kneel-and shuffle (not quite as bad as "crawl-over") your bed mate to get-up in the middle of the night. When you reach our age the mid-nite nature call adds to the CB challenge. Other than that, we like the CB because it provided a great living space in the lounge area. IMHO

Just got out of bed in our 23cb. We are 2 people 6ft/190 ...5'7"/120. We love the layout of our trailer, and I really don't like full bathrooms across the back. That being said the corner bed is defiantly the least favourite thing in ours. Sometimes I use one of the 2 front couches which are very comfortable, and no need to put down the table. Ive looked at other layouts and I still have a hard time finding one I like as much as the one we have. Our longest trip is about 6weeks we put about 10-15,000km per year on the trailer.
23ft is an excellent length for getting into a lot of the old parks especially here in BC.

This floor plan is the one we love the best because we like having the dinette in the panoramic window area as opposed to a bed. We have a Safari 25 corner bed & corner bath setup and find it good to sleep in but that said, it is hard - very hard to make up. You can live with it. The bathroom is tight because of the fit against the bed.

It depends on you and what you are looking for. How are you going to travel with it? Are you looking at full time or just weekend travel with a few weeks a year? Are you going to spend the bulk of your time outside or inside? This came in to play when we made our decision. We ran into the same with our dealer when we decided to get serious about a purchase. We were looking at the Flying Cloud, 25 RBT. They pushed it saying this is a top seller. We had mentioned the 23 and they said we would end up trading it in for the 25 later down the road. We loved it, loved it for the big lounge area and the twin beds. But when it came to the weight of the rig and our Current Tow Vehicle it would not work. We did not want to upgrade our tow vehicle. So we mulled it over, we could make the 25 work with our tow vehicle but then we would be worried about everything we put inside the rig and how much it weighs. It would have been a struggle. We were doing our research and went back to the dealer website and that is when the hubby saw the 2018 FC 23 CBB available.
My DH and I then started researching it, the size, the weight, the corner bed and the bathroom. I was concerned about the bed and the fridge the most. So we called the Dealer back and asked about it. They apologized for pushing us towards the 25 and the more we talked the more we all felt the 23 was a better fit for us.
As we have watched many AS owners on You Tube, we have come to realize where do you spend the most of your time while in the AS? Not in the bed and not in the bathroom. So we just needed to be sure we could both sleep on the corner bed comfortably. Which case we did, and we are not small people (but getting smaller every day). The bathroom was a non-issue. The fridge turned out to be bigger than I anticipated. Turned the Dinette and couch into a large lounge area like you can do in the 25 makes it feel even bigger inside. Lots of comfort on a rainy day.
The 23 it is great to tow. It is also small and makes it easier getting into campsites. Getting in and out gas stations is a breeze. Parking at Stores we only take up 2 parking spaces driving through. We do not intend to ever Full time it.
We are a family of 4 (9 and 12 year olds) with an 80lb dog and we absolutely love our AS FC 23 CBB. This will more than likely be our forever trailer.

Hi we have the CB the bed is small, Im small too 5’7” and wife is about the same. It’s tight for two, But the sofa open to a bed. The only thing I don’t like is the toilet arrangement. Try sitting on the toilet and closeing the door it’s tight. Remember your camping.

Always a compromise
We rented both (CB & FB23) for a 3-5 night trip, decided how we lived in it best and made our decision and love it. Very difficult to tell from a showroom. you need to move around, cook, use the bathroom, eat, sleep, watch TV all for a few days. you will know then which is for you and if there are any non negotiables, as there was for my wife.
try before you buy your first one. after 40 nights in mine, which we love, I do know which model will be my next one:

We don't usually close the bathroom door, we just leave it open and use the folding accordion door for privacy.

Susandoris, you’ve gotten sage advice from all sides! Like others, we started with a FC23FB because it offered more bed and bath space but our concern was the dinette. Another attraction was it offered lower tongue weight than others. After two trips last year we admitted we loved the Airstream experience but not the dinette.
We’re now loving our 27’ Globetrotter and spent two weeks in Colorado with no regrets. Granted it required a different tow vehicle but with retirement on the horizon, we went “all in”. Plenty of longe and dining space.
Now Airstream has a 23’ Twin Bed Globetrotter and while the dinette is in the same spot, it looks like the back cushions and table are different (roomier?). Also, the GT’s have upgraded Tuft & Needle mattresses. Big improvement!
I’m sure you’ll find one that’s right for you - we finally did!
