DIY Dinette Mattress

Last fall we rebuilt our front dinette/bed in our '72 Land Yacht. Now we have a few more inches to stretch our feet, but the mattress is too small.
We are planning to buy a memory foam and cut out the cushions, but I would LOVE some advice OR a tutorial someone has made on what they used and how they did it.
THANKS!!!
