Changing the Door Curtain

The window on our entry door has a roll down curtain which is inside the doors skin. We need to change it due to its age. How can we access inside the door cavity without removing the cover which involves removing rivets.

The interior metal "must" be removed.

Dear Andy:
I assume you mean the upper interior section of the door panel. I did a search after I posted my question and found many others with the same problem. Thanks for what you do for AS community.
