Ceiling Hooks for Bunks

If I remove the bed hooks from the ceiling of my trailer can they be sealed? Or should I just leave them in...I noticed on an old forum that they had ceiling hooks that you could find at Inland Rv if somone else were to try and put these bunks up.....I don't want to take them out if it will cause any problems.....like leaking. If anyone can help with some info that would be great.

They should only be attached to the inner skin and should not cause a leak if removed.

And, if you want to get rid of those nasty old bunk hooks I will take them off your hands for free.
