Ceiling Covering Falling Down

I have a 94 34 Limited and the vinyl ceiling covering is de-lamanating in the cupboards and above the door. I have tried a 3M spray adhesive with very unsatisfactory results. How do I deal with this problem? Is it necessary to scrape the fuzzy layer off the inner metal surface? Do I really have to use a lot of glue?

Any assistance would be appreciated.

Ron

Hi Ron,
Do a search for this problem. There is a lot of info available.
There is no easy fix.
Mines a 94 and so far it has stayed up but it will fail.

There isn't any "glue" fix that isn't cost/labor intensive. We had the ceiling fall in our '97 due to adhesive failure (due to EPA regs the glue used then fails at 95f). The past Pres of the Georgia Unit, Warren Fore, has templates to screw the ceiling back up with a pattern which makes it look almost quilted. It looks good, is affordable, and permanent. I realize you are in Canada, but he goes to a lot of the rallys and other events. I don't think he is on Airforums, but you can reach him through the Top of Georgia website.
