Bunk Beds

After Searching for a good Bunk Bed Idea for our 310, I decided to build something that would work for us. The upper bunk swings up to the ceiling when not in use, and contains storage inside of it. the space below the lower bunk will be used for shoe storage (3 pairs each limit, 15 pairs total). I will post more pictures when it is finished in both positions.

Very nice design and execution!

Had to laugh at the 15 pairs of shoes, but I understand! I usually end up with my dress shoes from work (I don't go home before camping), tennis shoes for the campfire, boots to hike, and slippers for inside and the floors cold! Now add in the wife.......

First world problems! Ha.

Do you have any recent pictures to share that show the completed bunk beds project?

Caroyl,
Are there any pictures in particular you want to see?
These are the only pictures I have on my work computer, they were taken in-route somewhere in Alaska.

Thanks [emoji1303] How close to the ceiling is the top of the bunk? How large are the family members sleeping in them? I'm trying to figure out how much clearance I'll need for my grandkids.

I will check the actual distance tonight.

The kids in the bunk are 10yo 4'8 (bottom) 13yo 5' (top)
