Bunk Bed Advice needed..

I have a 1978 31' Sovereign with rear twins. I need to add a bunk above each twin. I have looked for hardward in all of the usual places but nobody seems to have any. I have a fabricator that can make them for me. My questions is where can I attached them. Is it only to where there are already rivets? They can don't need to stow away or fold up.

Any other advice would be appreciated.

Thanks,

I made my own bunks you can see pictures here.. http://www.airforums.com/forums/f44/...r-44644-2.html

The front is cut out of a piece of 3/4 inch ply. I screwed some 1x2 to the walls through the aluminum then added cross braces to the front and to the floor like legs. Also ran legs up to the upper bunk so the wall braces don't take to much weight. the upper bunk will hold me no problem and I'm 200 lbs.

That is a picture of the bracket for the twin bunks that came in our unit. Ours folded up to make the back turn into a sofa then folded out and had a cable that hung from the the brackets that are attached to the ceiling

Hope this helps a bit....also the bed was made from plywood that was covered in foam then material. it folded down in half with a large piano hinge.
