Bedding
I have been looking at the Travasak sleep system as a way to deal with the problem of making a bed that you can not walk abound. I have found it exceedingly difficult to try to make a bed when you have to get on top of it at the same time that you are trying to stuff sheets/blankets/comforters down between the mattress and walls. I have found another similar brand out there, but it is a good bit more expensive. The other day I ran across one from Serta. I have only been able to locate it at a couple of web sites. There is little information and no reviews. It looks a lot like the microsuede version of the Travasak that Camping World recently sold except downsized slightly to the Air Bed size that it is being marketed for.
Do a Google search for:
Serta Micro Suede Sleep System
You will turn up these web sites.
My question: Has anyone tried this product? I know that I don't need to ask for opinions... there will be no shortage of those!

I have tried HackSack by leisure and it works well and has one side heavier than the other for colder temperatures heavy side up.

Thanks...
Thanks for your input Carol. That's one vote for an option that is on the high dollar side of the Travasak. Any particular reason you were willing to pay the premium for the HackSack?
I like the color options...
HackSack, Travasak and Serta (in order of price from high to low) all have Summer and Winter sides and feature full zippers & sheets with full length velcro to hold them in place.
Sincerely,
Ralph

My understanding is that Travasak is out of business and you can find their products on sale pretty cheap.
- RV PARTS OUTLET
But happy to hear Hacksack is still around - I thought they were dead. Used one of those for years and it worked great but finally fell apart. May just get another now that I know they're still available.

Travasak Microsuede Still Available
The Travasak Microsuede is still available at:
Shop.TuesdayMorning.com – Famous name brands at legendary savings
The prices are reduced significantly.
Twin - $99.99
Queen - $129.99
IMHO- The microsuede is much more attractive than the plain fabrics being currently offered at West Marine and other places.
Also, those interested can call CW 800# and they will look up which stores still have them in stock. Will have to inquire re: price.

Thanks...
shaker,
Thanks for the heads up on TuesdayMorning. I just ordered the microsuede Travasak from them.
BTW, both sites where I found with the Serta product have now mysteriously dropped the product.
Sincerely,
Ralph

I had ordered the Hacksack because of the size of the full. I think it measured smaller than the Travasack and we were using it for the corner bed. It is a good fit for that. I don't remember the prices but at the time I think it was less expensive than Travasack. I have heard Travasack has greater loft between the two.
Hearing about the Travasacks being on sale is a good deal. We might pick up another system for the other Airstream, it's a nice guest setup.

On March 29, I ordered one of the few remaining Travasak Queen size in the only color left (Blue). The warehouse has about 100 of these left and there will be no more from the manufacturer. I ordered from RVupgrades.com $139.99 plus $35 shipping. Bonnie

Have I waited too long?
After purchasing a Travasak Queen from TuesdayMorning back in January, I have been meaning to look for an extra set of of sheets (cream colored). I finally got around to it yesterday and was not able to turn up anything. Anyone know of a source where you can still find them?
Thanks,
Ralph
