Bathroom Fiberglass End Cap and Shower Question

After pondering a solution to mounting a shower curtain track or rod for a few months now, I'm leaning toward mounting a track on the ceiling. This way, the rod does not encroach upon the openness of the bathroom. I really like the elbow room in the rear bath units.

Anyways, are there any concerns about putting a few small screw holes in the end cap? Weight shouldn't be too much of an issue, the curtain track is bendable, very light and made of aluminum.

I'm also curious if anybody else has mounted a curtain track like this and if they are happy going this route.

Thanks

Velcro?

You could just velcro the shower curtain to the ceiling/wall. Add a tie back to drape it to the side when not in use. That would also make it easy to remove and scrub when you spend too much time in a campground that has high iron in the water and your curtain turns a lovely rust color.

I have a shower curtain & rod in my rear bath Argosy, I'll try to remember to take a pic and post it tomorrow.

Hmmm, Velcro....I wouldn't have worry about mounting a thing. I might just go this route until I decide what to do. Who knows, this might be my permanent solution.

TG,
Thanks for the pics. They really don't help much, though. I have that configuration now for my shower. The problem is that the water splashes all over the counter tops. A U-shape configuration (from the top) is what I need for this bathroom.
