Anyone Converted an Airstream to a Pool House/Cabana?

Though we wouldn't want it to be its permanent home because it's an '06 and we love towing it around and seeing new parts of the land...we have a nicely landscaped back yard with a couple of patios and a ramada...lots of desrt vegetation, etc and even a nice big old orage tree....we have thought of knocking out the back wall of our back yard, putting in a new wood fence with a gate in it and using our back yard as a place to store the Bambi when we aren't towing it...incorporating it into the landscape...you know...a sort of back yard retreat...I can see it now. (But before we could do othat, we'd need to get on the city to celan up the alley enough that I won't hit overhanging trees, etc getting it back there!) We might have to put in a pool if we do that, though, so I'd better think about this carefully before we do it![IMG]images/icons/icon12.gif[/IMG]

I know this is an old old thread, but we just bought a gutted 1976 land yacht for this very purpose. Wish us luck !
