Any suggestions for bathroom sink?

The bathroom sink in my Bambi II is one of those combination sink and countertop made out of a hard plastic material. It is damaged with a crack in the front. I'm looking for suggestions on what to do with it as I don't think the crack can be repaired. I'd really like to replace it with another one just like it if I can find one. Any suggestions?

Yukionna:

I would suggest three possible solutions:

1.) Check with a local "bathroom builder" (fake stone) - they are in the yellow pages -- see "cast stone". It may be reproduceable locally - or repairable, or refinishable.

2.) Contact Airstream. The same sink may still be in use, and you should be able to purchase one from them.

3.) Send the picture and dimensions to Colaws or other RV salvage yard - I would not suspect there is a big demand for sink at salvage, plus I would think sinks would survive the typical roll over suffered by most of the AS's I saw at Colaws earlier this year.

Bath sink

Have you checked the warranty side of the issuse? Probably depends on how it broke, date ,etc, but sometimes the product Mfc warrants the item longer than A/S. Our bath sink faucet broke off at the stem yesterday & I couldn't find a replacement, so I called American Standard consumer line, gave the person the make, model# & they're sending me two replacement stems at n/c & no questions. The original item was purchased on 11-14-99. Pays to try, as sometimes you just get lucky.Just a suggestion.
Best,
