25fb or 27fb bunk information

Hi everyone,

My wife and I placed an order for a 25fb international twin. I have been researching and was wondering if We should have ordered the bunk option.

Does anyone have a 25 or 27fb with a bunk on this forum? I was curious about the size of the bunk and how large of a person could sleep comfortably.

The bunks that Airstream currently installs are basically kid sized: see pic


They are also handy for overhead storage.

Eric, what I was told by my dealer is that the bunk is 15” at its highest point on the 25FB. We elected not to do it and keep the storage. 15” seems very short, but I had nothing else to go by other than what the dealer was telling me.
