25FB Desk and Fireplace Installed
Got a 25FB and have been racking my brain on a desk installation. got tired of having the computer (eventually switch to a laptop) and microwave taking all the room on the dining table.
Decided to remove the table and seating around the dining table, but did leave the bottom portion of the seat to use for he desk platform. My original plan was to get a 28 footer, and build a desk by removing the dining area too.
Saw the 1,500 watt fireplace at Costco and decided to add it in the design.
Numerous redesigns during the build process. Added a dining pullout last minute, which created mor redesigning.
Of course at the end, theres a bunch of things i would have designed differently.
Almost completed - here some pics.

Nice! Looks like a high-end designer sitting room. The fireplace is a way cool addition!

Looks beautiful. Is that a desktop Imac you are using? I don't yet have an AS but was hoping (as a photographer) to use a desktop instead of a laptop.

27” iMac. I might t y hooking up my second monitor too. I’ll probably move it to the truck when i’m traveling though. Have not figured out a good way to mount it without drilling the base to the desktop. Figured less weight on the tail of the Airstream would be better too.

You could probably put the computer on the bed when you travel. The bed in front doesn't get as rough a ride, plus the mattress is soft enough to absorb most road shock much better than simply placing it on the seat in the truck.
A simple elastic cord across it will prevent it from sliding off the bed in transit.
