1966 Safari, land yacht interior end caps

Has anyone replaced the interior, front and rear fiberglass end caps with alum.? Thus far I have installed 1-1/2" rigid foam blocks to bring the surface out meet the alum. frame. Is there a starting point such as mid window to begin? Thus far I am working with some very flexible plastic sheeting to try and figure out the cuts. Hopefully someone out there has done what I am attempting and can shed some helpful hints on the details.

There was a post that suggested using 11" x 51" pcs. to create a fan like form. This may have work well on a different model A/S than mine. Thanks! edc
