What 'Airstreams' have two beds on one side

I'm looking for a used airstream with a area that's pulled ( whats that called )

With two double beds?

Any model suggestions

By "with an area that is pulled," do you mean a "slide-out?" This is a section of the trailer that literally slides out of the main body to create a wider room in that section. Airstream made a model with a slide-out for a few years in the mid-2000's, but it has been discontinued. Try checking Airstream's site Airstream, Inc :: Specifications for floor plans for trailers all the way back to the dark ages.

Many Airstream larger models have a double bed in the back and a pull out Gaucho couch in the front that makes into another double bed. Is that what you are after? No Airstreams come with two conventional double beds.

Airstream.com has all the models listed new and old. I think it is in the service section. Jim

For some earlier models, you may want to check out the Vintage Archives for pics & info. I believe all Excellas came in twin & double options. Whether they had two true doubles or one & a gaucho/jackknife style, I don't know. But Excellas were introduced in the early 70's and ran through 2001+/- so there are a lot of them out there.

Good luck with your search ~

The newest bunkhouse model has a front queen bedroom and a rear full with a twin bunk over it, as one option.

Many Airstream models where available in two floorplans, Twin (a twin bed on each side of the aisle) and Double (usually a folding "Gaucho" on one side of the aisle, with cabinetry on the other.

Starting in the '70s, some of the longest trailers were available in a "rear bedroom" floorplan that could be had with twins or a fixed double that didn't fold up (a very few had a rear gaucho, I've seen them in documentation but never in photos or in person.)

Some of the small vintage trailers had a "corner double" like a few of the modern plans, where there's a small bathroom in one corner and the bed is in the other corner. The gauchos that run along the length of the trailer and the corner doubles mean that one sleeper will be up against a wall and have to climb over the other to get out of bed.

It seems that the majority of people selling used trailers don't specifically say which plan it is, and if there's not a picture that shows the bed area you'll have to ask. It seems to me that most of the nice ones for sale are Doubles, because I prefer the Twin plans. It's all about perspective, y'know.

I have twin beds in the back and my couch "goncho" folds down into a double bed. We are using the twin beds with stabilizers in between and have a queen sized bed in the back.

Happydays, is this what you mean - this is the rear twin beds in my AS. Being a "narrow body", twin beds or a single double bed were the options.
