Protecting interior clear coat?

We are using our trailer quite heavily, and have noticed damage to the clear coat on the interior of the overhead cabinets where things like dishes rub.

What are people doing to protect these areas? We have put up some felt, but it doesn’t look very good 😱

Does anyone make headliners for these cabinets?

Hi XCountry,

Mrs Mako has been making square soft-sided\padded bags for plates, glassware and other items that could potentially break or scratch our pristine aluminum overhead cabinets in the GT. Additionally, we line all of our horizontal surfaces everywhere (I mean... everywhere) with rubberized shelf liner to keep things from sliding and damaging aluminum, wood etc. If you aren't the crafty type like me, soft sided bags can be purchased at Target or the Amazon. Make sure they are higher than your tallest item.

We also fill open voids when packing heavier items such as a Kurig coffee maker, pots\pans or other appliances with foam and towels during transport.
