Outdoor Shower tents / Changing tents

Sorry, not sure where to post this or how applicable it will be, but I’m thinking for the people spending a lot of time in their Airstreams they may make use of the outdoor shower in good weather or when they’re covered head to toe with dirt and mud for mountain biking, running, etc

I’m looking for either recommendations on a quality product that you purchased for being able to change out doors and leave all your muddy shoes and clothes behind and/or to shower outdoors for the same intention I prefer suggestions from those who own one and swear by it or own one and had multiple problems that they stopped using it. Helpful ideas for a flooor which I’m thinking could just be a snap together plastic tiles/ patio floor.

Thanks just getting started here, though after bike race etc one comes back covered head to toe in mud and that does not work going inside.

I use an Alu - Cab Shower Cube and Eccotemp L5 on demand heater/shower integrated onto my overland rig (and Airstream tow vehicle).

For freestanding/portable use, I'd seriously consider the Kakadu Outback Shower and Nemo Heliopolis Shower Tent.

None of these are cheap, but "buy once, cry once" may apply here.

Nemo tent is good option. Its not quick or easy I’m guessing for setup but It’s sturdy, I like the shower floor idea and also separate guide pools so it can be machine washed when needed. Thanks

Funny, if you go look in the Boondocking section, Ray just posted about one he’d bought years ago…

I’d like to have one, but I can’t find one that is set up to be a pass-through from the camper’s outdoor shower into the shower tent; all I’ve come across are intended to be used with a portable shower setup (like a bag, etc.).

I’m still looking…

To me this looks similair to what you mention about having accces to the nozzle and water shut off? Not quite what we need but maybe helps give you an idea?

We use a light speed shower tent and a rinse kit pro with heater.

The light speed is large enough for 2 so you can help your little ones if applicable.

I like the size of that one when up. Since we’d want it for mostly just a rinse-off station, I suppose we could turn it at an angle so the shower hose from the camper comes in the door…

Unfortunately it does not have a side door for shower entry but the floor is great as we lift it after use for quicker drying of the tent.

I think this one could work well also because it has dual zippers and you could bring those zippers down / up to just bring the showerhead inside.

I’m just wondering what the true size of yours was because Amazon has dimensions maybe larger than what would fit across the back of an AI. Thanks
