What a fun bunch this forum is! Had not though about taking the AS via ferry to #49, what a novel idea! Wouldn't that be a hoot to wake up, look out my window and see the shore drift by on my way there (assuming they let you take and stay in your trailer en route)

Had not thought of Get Smart in ages, ahhh the great ones....

Thanks for all the practical tips on where and when... that will sure come in handy. I did see the site from the couple that did the whirl-wind NP tour, lots of exceptional pics, but I do think I'd want to take more time and not rush it. (Funny how young people with all the time in the world are in such a rush, and old folks who don't have as much time left go slow, huh.)
