Directly due to Act of US Congress, my job is to be abolished and I have been involuntarily transferred to work in Eureka California with $500 per month reduction in salary or be unemployed.
I will have to be using ’64 Safari to live in while I seek other employment (good luck with that, eh).
Does any know where I might Boondock or cheaply hookup/park near Eureka for a week or two at a time or for a couple of months while working?
Its a job and its in Eureka, ....I know you will make that work out. A great place to live if the California "expenses" don't eat your lunch. Look for fellow Forum members around there...

The fairgrounds are not too bad and alot quieter than the park near the highway at the north end of town. There is a place in Samoa but it always looks a little dicey to me. I used to live in Eureka and drive by the Samoa park regularly on the way to the beach with my dog. Let's just say I wouldn't even pull in there unless I was with my husband.
The Riverwalk RV park in Fortuna is nice, but probably not so cheap. The weather in Fortuna is a little warmer than Eureka too. Eureka is almost always cold and foggy. When it's sunny, it's also windy. I'm glad to be living elsewhere now because the weather is just not my cup of tea.
If you're ever in So. Humboldt, Dean creek Resort in Redway is nice.
