Winterizing in So. Cal.

Yes, once again its time to winterize the A/S. It must be prepared to withstand the onslaught of the California winter.

We added another blanket to the bed.

We removed the cool cups designed to keep the beer cold while drinking.

We loaded the Single Malt (12 year old) to keep us warm while around the fire.

Well I guess thats about it. Winter is heck out here!

Likewise, I am preparing to turn off the air conditioner for a couple of months, and that's about it for here.

Well, it sort of worked. I don't have all the screen capture software on my computer at work, maybe someone else can capture and post it, and I can delete my lame attempt above...

Be ashamed

If you could see the view out the window from my desk and see my airstream with a fresh blanket of snow, you'd realize how cruel you are being.

Mark,

You forgot the other two, we do have four seasons. The other ones are earthquake and drought.

You have a season for earthquakes? Let me know which season that is, I'll plan to be elsewhere during that 3 months of the year...

Earthquake season overlaps the other three quite a bit.

Earthquake season unlike Hurrican season is not a specific time of year. We get one one or two every decade or so and thats pretty much it.

Thank you for your Congradulations. I wish the honorific meant I actually knew something.
